The trans fat law limits or eliminates my eating out. I like the taste and flavor of BUTTER, and margarine has hydrogenated oils which are just as bad. Your law should require restaurants to list what is what, not ban it, allow people to choose what they want. All you are doing is TELLING others what they can or can not eat and eliminating the choice. We are suppose to be a free country, and yet government is slowly removing our freedoms one by one, and this is just another example. Breads are next, so what is after that? I expect to see BEEF and PORK soon because of the high FAT content. The way it is going, it will be illegal to eat hamburgers because of the beef and restaurants will be required to serve only "vegi-burgers. Hot dogs and processed meats such as bacon, sausage, will have to go also due to FAT content. By the way, when does the BAN for the sale of butter in stores go into effect? If you eliminate it in one place, I am sure you are planning to eliminate it everywhere else. Where does butter come from? Hmmmmm, so next is Half-Half for coffee to be banned, then Whole milk, right. Only skim or non-fat milk will be allowed. I find it humorous that when the economy is at its worst, you do more to limit spending. There are people that do NOT like margarine. I remember mixing a small yellow dot of food coloring in a plastic ball of ‘off white’ stuff to make it look like butter. It was called OLEO, and the taste ruined me for ever for anything but BUTTER. I remember freedom of press, but today we only have limited freedom, we can say what we want as long as the government does not object under the 'freedom acts' that have been put into place. Most people in this country do not even know how much they have lost in terms of freedoms in the last 20 years. What was I in the army for? What did I fight for? I guess I served and fought for the right to have the government tell me what I can and can not eat. I am a Vietnam vet that is getting more pissed off at the loss of freedoms, little ones, that many of them are, like foods, but still, loss of freedoms and the more little ones we lose, the more we will lose the big ones as we go along. Choice is the right of every citizen. That includes the choice of foods we want to eat out, or it should. People like our governor who have never served in the armed forces do not know what it is to fight for freedom, all he has ever done is play the part. Regan had more sense then this 'QUACK'. Anyways, that’s what I think and feel about your telling me what I have to and cant eat.
