Hollywood A-listers and dynamic do-it-all husband and wife team, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, have given fans another reason to love them—the duo has released their first organic wine from their 1,000-acre wine estate in Provence, France.

In a joint venture with the Perrin wine family, Pitt and Jolie’s organic rose will be known as Miraval (its former name was “Pink Floyd”), named after the Chateau Miraval estate the couple owns. The Perrin family, which owns Chateau Beaucastel in the Rhone Valley, is involved with wine production, marketing and distribution for Miraval.

Bloomberg reports that Brad Pitt said (through his publicist and manager), “We are intimately involved and quite enthused over the wine project with our friends the Perrin family.” According to Bloomberg, “Pitt and Jolie attended the rose blending sessions and helped to create a distinctive new bottle shape and black label,” which will carry the names “Jolie-Pitt and Perrin.”

The families bonded over several factors, exciting them about the project. In particular, the Chateau Miraval estate is organic, which for the Perrins, “is the only way to grow grapes.” The Perrin family pioneeded organic viticulture in 1950, reports Bloomberg, “Their joint venture with California’s Tablas Creek Vineyard in Paso Robles has been organic since vines were planted in 1989.” Now, the Perrin family is revamping style, too, using stainless steel tanks for the Miraval rose gives it “intensely floral, wild lily aromas and brighter flavor notes of strawberry and raspberry. ”
