Americans Lack Confidence in Food Safety

A recent CBS News poll reveals only 32% of Americans are “very confident” about the safety of the U.S. food supply.

According to those surveyed, 52% are “somewhat confident,” while 16% were “not too/at all confident.”

Men, Midwesterners and those with higher incomes gave food safety higher grades.
