Iron Chef, restaurateur and cookbook author Bobby Flay (above) will host Brunch at Bobby’s, a new TV show that debuts 2 p.m. Saturday on the Cooking Channel.
Sunday brunch happens to be Flay’s favorite meal of the week, and he’s passionate about it. Brunch @ Bobby’s celebrates his favorite menus, which he’ll prepare from a relaxed kitchen in The Hamptons.
Expect dishes to be both sweet and savory—from French breakfasts and Italian brunches to Flay’s own family recipes.
The first episode features a South of the Border theme, with recipes for Ranch-Style Eggs with Chorizo and Tomato-Red Chile Sauce, Spicy Home Fries, Spicy Guacamole and Sangrita (a Bloody Mary margarita).
FYI: We’ve published two of Flay’s delicious recipes in the past: Smoked Chile Cole Slaw and Stuffing Crusted Turkey Cutlets (above right). These dishes —and those featured on Flay’s new show—can definitely be prepared with organic ingredients.
