This tasty vegetable recipe is easy to prepare for family meals, and it’s a lovely side dish for special occasions.
Prep time is only 5 minutes, and cooking time is another 5 minutes.
All of the ingredients should be readily available at your local natural and organic food store.
Spicy Nutmeg Carrots
Makes 5 servings
1 package (16 ounces) baby carrots
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
Cook carrots as directed on package.
Mix butter, nutmeg, garlic salt and red pepper in small bowl. Pour over carrots; toss to coat well. Serve immediately.
