<p>A recent study published in the journal <a href="xhttp://www.environmentalhealthnews.org/ehs/newscience/2012/06/2012-0913-urban-green-lower-traffic-pollution-pregnant/" target="_blank"><em>Environmental Health Sciences</em> </a>found that pregnant women who live in urban areas with more grass and trees surrounding their homes, were less at risk of exposure to harmful environmental pollutants than women with less plant life in their immediate area.</p>]]></description>

<p>A recent study conducted by independent physicians at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Sherbrooke Hospital Centre in Quebec, Canada found traces of toxic chemicals from genetically modified organisms in 93 percent of pregnant women and in 80 percent of umbilical cords tested.</p>]]></description>
