l. BP has the resources to pay individuals as temporary helpers
2. Hiring would relieve some of the financial problems of Americans
3. It would help BP’s image as a problem solver
4. Why should individuals clean up BP’s problem without compensation?
5. If this spill gets to England, the staff would be ready for cleanup as the
English will not tolerate their own white beaches from ruin
6. BP could immediately set a team of paid volunteers by hiring through a temporary
agency or by implementing an employment HR team in each area of the US polluted
by the oil
