Dalai Lama, We Must Act Against Global Warming!

During the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Poznan, Poland, the Dalai Lama voiced his worries about global warming and urged governments to act quickly.

“I do have some serious concerns as a result of learning from specialists (that) unless we pay sufficient attention and (adopt) sufficient method of protection… global warming is really, really very serious,” the Tibetan spiritual leader told the AFP.

His holiness expressed concern over warming temperatures in the Tibetan plateau. Worrying that major rivers in Asia will dry up, stranding the billions of people that depend on them.
