People want more war simply because it makes them feel good (and they fear \terrorists\ because of the constant propaganda from the right which has NO basis in realty). People are used to the oil spill now and are sorry for the BP company for all of the abuse they get. It is that silly.

Oil is too valuable for medicine, fertilizer and plastics to burn. We should be expanding our renewable sources of energy as fast as we can for all of the reasons stated and because the energy of the sun is there for the taking and will be for as long as we need it. Not only can we get along without oil for energy, those who follow us will have no other choice.

There is no excuse NOT to get with the program!
