Sun dried tomato spread

Who doesn’t love party food? Any shindig you’ve ever been to where you had to shove your way through the packed kitchen just to reach the last crab cake as someone else snatches it from right under your nose, can answer that question.

We love to fill our bellies—and parties—with all manner of tasty treats: Bite size morsels with varieties of flavors to delight each of your tastebuds, fruit and veggie trays, and all manner of dips and spreads to make crackers and breads even more scrumptious.

These recipes for three simple three-ingredient spreads take minutes to make. Whip up one, two or all three (if you’re really going for the WOW factor) for your next get together. They’re made from ingredients you can find right in your pantry—perfect for a gathering of unexpected guests. Of course, there’s no harm in making them just for you, (and not sharing) either.

1. Sun Dried Tomato and Roasted Red Bell Pepper Spread

This creamy bright orange spread is perfect for adding some zest to sandwiches or paninis.

Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.

2. Artichoke Hearts and Lemon Spread

Buttery-tasting artichoke hearts mix with tangy lemon to create a spread that goes great with crackers or flat bread.

  • 1 small jar of artichoke hearts
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil

Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Top this spread with a smattering of freshly-grated Parmesan cheese if you’re feeling feisty.

3. Green Olive and Almond Spread

If you love olives, this is the spread for you. It's bursting with olive-y flavor, with the saltiness cut down a dash by the olive oil. To finish, the almonds add a bit of crunch.

  • ½ cup green olives
  • 1-2 tablespoons chopped almonds
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil

Blend the olives and olive oil in a food processor until smooth. Add chopped almonds to garnish. Use to spread over crackers or pita bread.
