When was the last time you were totally fanciful? Everybody needs to treat themselves like a princess (or a prince) sometimes, and what better way than with a flower-themed party? Decorate your hair with a wreath of posies, find a shady spot in the garden and set the table with these flavorful, unique recipes inspired by summer blooms.

Lamb With Lavender

A Provençal recipe, this simple roasted lamb dish substitutes freshly picked lavender for conventional rosemary. Make small incisions in a leg of lamb, and tuck fresh lavender sprigs inside. Brown the lamb on all sides, then roast it at 350 degrees for 75 minutes, basting every 15 minutes. Wild Greens Flower Salad

This salad is inherently beautiful—not just because it's peppered with petals, but because you can make it with any in-season greens. If you can, gather dandelion greens and other wild edibles to mix in with spring leaves. Add edible organic flowers and dress lightly. For edible flower ideas, see 13 Edible Flowers for Your Garden.

Geranium Cake

The pièce de résistance, without a doubt. This gorgeous white cake, iced in Italian meringue buttercream and dripping with organic geraniums, is at once delicate, flavorful and joyfully elegant. See the full recipe: Gorgeous Organic Edible Flower Cake.
