|6 BPA-Free Popsicle Molds|
|Written by Lacy Boggs Renner|
It's getting hot out there, and homemade popsicles can be a fun and healthy way to cool down. Freeze fresh fruit and juice, yogurt, or your favorite smoothies. We've found six of our favorite popsicle molds for your freezing pleasure—all of which are BPA free!
BPA (bisphenol-A) was just banned by the FDA for use in baby bottles and sippy cups. It's a known endocrine disruptor, which can be especially risky for kids, causing developmental and behavioral issues. That's no fun! But these BPA-free popsicle molds make summertime both sweet and safe. Check out our favorites:
Tovolo Bug Pops
These cute pops make eating bugs delicious. Six cute varieties from ladybugs to centipedes. Their smaller size and leaf-shaped hand guard (to catch drips) make them perfect for kiddos.
These molds are meant to make toddler-sized healthy frozen snacks. The tray holds eight kid-sized pops.
BPA-free plastic with an aluminum top and wooden sticks makes this an old-school classic. It makes up to 10 pops at a time, so it's great for a crowd.
If you want to steer clear of plastic altogether, this stainless steel mold makes it possible. Completely BPA- and pthalate-free. (Just don't try to lick the frozen metal!)
These cute molds look like soft serve ice cream in a cone. Perfect for frozen yogurt pops.
These cuties are like the cardboard push-up pops you might have gotten from the ice cream truck as a kid—but made out of silicone! Frozen fun without the stick.
