Our Facebook Favs of the Week:
- Foodsmiths Foodie The landscape of the industry is changing every day. It means as consumers we must be diligent and educate ourselves about what we eat. Keep looking locally and within your province/state. You will be surprised how much amazing natural and organic food is out there that the "big boys" don't own. The more small and local producers you support the stronger they will be.
- Stewart Holmes This is a dreadful insight into the way modern agriculture has been directed. I hope there is sufficient people around that have held on to the true skills of food production. We could then begin to rebuild or communities. Together with a more sustainable future.
- Ginnee Hancock We live off-grid, way off-grid in the rural mountains of Costa Rica. Yes it can be done, it is an adventure that is never boring.
- BumbleBar In my early twenties, I lived off the grid in the Coastal Mountain Range in Oregon. It was beautiful. It was also incredibly hard work. :-)
See you in Tweet Land or on the "Wall!"
