The Cinderella Carriage pumpkins have a beautifully lobed shape that resembles Cinderella's Carriage in the magical fairy tale. This thick skinned pumpkin sustains gorgeous deep, rich orange and red colors. These pumpkins grow to about 18-35 pounds and make wonderful Jack-O-Lanterns and spectacular pumpkin soup. The white Lumina pumpkins are a delight for children. They are great for painting (they have very smooth skin) and have an excellent flavor for cooking. They grow to 8-10 pounds.

I have a favorite pumpkin soup recipe that I make with our organic pumpkins every year. I serve this dish beginning around Halloween through Thanksgiving and each time my guests go crazy.
