Laura’s Favs: Tweets and Comments (October 7, 2011)

This week was yet again another milestone in the history of Organic Authority- we reached over 17,000 LIKES on Facebook! Thank you to everyone who has ever supported us, shared us with their friends, wrote us messages, etc. You are the heartbeat of this website! We are working on some new features where we will get to know you all a lot more very soon, so keep your ears to the ground! We can’t wait to hear what you have to say next. Have a great weekend!
Also, check out our OA Everyday Eco Star! Her name is Danielle, but she goes by the name of The Glamorganic Goddess on her blog! Her story is amazing, and you can read all about her right here! Congrats! Check out her new blog for us here, as well!
Here are some of our favorite social network highlights from the week:
- @linivictoria: @OrganicAuthorit love, love, LOVE kale! Especially in my mom’s kale cakes or in @WholeFoods soy & the sea salad… can’t get enough!
- @lavender_salts: show me the label!!! “@OrganicAuthorit: Oh Canada! Unlabeled GMO Corn Found in Supermarkets dlvr.it/nrvHp”
- @cathygivans: @OrganicAuthorit Yaay! I never knew all my fave green foods grew in cooler weather! Time to get planting!
- @clickwisdom: @FitSwann @OrganicAuthorit @EatRealThings I LOVE kale. I have two kinds growing in the garden. Yogurt, garlic, kale. Blend. Use as dip. Yum.
Our Facebook Favs of the Week:
Spring Snuffin I think mandatory labeling will help people make better purchasing decisions. Of course the FDA, (a.k.a the “Fake Food and Drug Administration,”) disagrees with labeling foods as GMO or Non-GMO. They even set up some ridiculous guidelines/roadblocks to prevent such labeling. But the will of the people will always prevail (now more than ever).
- Tanya Calahan Thanks for all of the useful information. I love your posts and look forward to reading them everyday! 🙂
- Hip Urban Green Congrats! Recently found out about you via Twitter and loving what we see so far! Keep up the good work!
- AussieMumOnTheMove ?@Yvonne if you dont grow it yourself you always have to wonder but ORGANIC is way better than what else is on offer : ) imho
See you in Tweet Land or on the “Wall!”
