Europe’s Pesticides Hurt Brains and Bees!
New research by the European Union claims pesticides, used on fruits, vegetables and cereals, may HARM fetuses and young children. Since pesticides attack the brains of insects, experts insist they’re also “very likely” to DAMAGE human brains; ENN reports.
The EU’s pesticide problems DON’T end there. According to the Environmental News Service, French beekeepers are blaming pesticides for killing off 90 BILLION honeybees over the past 10 years, cutting honey-production by 60 percent.
And here in the United States, we’ve got our OWN pesticide issues! Some varieties of head lice have become RESISTANT to nearly all varieties of pesticides, leaving many parents and school nurses scratching their heads for a solution; via MSNBC.
