<p>Russian officials have announced a temporary ban on the import and sale of any of Monsanto's genetically modified corn into the country as a result of a <a href="http://www.organicauthority.com/blog/organic/monsantos-roundup-pesticide-causes-cancer-in-study/" target="_blank">French study</a> released last week connecting the corn with an increased risk of cancer.</p>]]></description>
