Giant Styrofoam Robots!
That’s no Optimus Prime. But still awesome! Artist Michael Salter recycles useless Styrofoam packaging into giant robots. That one stands 22-feet tall and needs a wooden skeleton to stay upright. The smaller bots at his feet keep people from getting too close.
But here’s the problem. These badass sculptures aren’t sold or even donated. At the end of show they’re destroyed and thrown out. Why! What a waste. Listen, I’m a huge Transformers fan. Send me some! I’d fill my apartment with them. Styro-Bots roll out!
