Old Water Tower Now a Dorm
Wow, compared to my rat’s nest that’s awesome! In 2006, an old water tower in Jaegersberg, Denmark was reclaimed from a rusting eyesore to an innovative and stylish housing complex for students.
Standing 10-stories tall it sports 5 floors of bright sunny apartments and the lower floors feature several spacious multipurpose rooms for studying and blowing off class.
Architectural firm Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter ApS won a competition to renovate the old water tower and old parking garages and other structures may soon be next!
