Avocados Aren’t Just For Eating:
Try this super simple and nourishing natural skin care miracle: An avocado + honey face mask. Apply the mask for 20 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water followed by your favorite moisturizer.
Combine –
1 ripe avocado
1 tablespoon pure raw honey
½ a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice
You mix this all together and let the antioxidants from the avocado, the citric acid from the lemon and the rich moisture from the honey, transform your dull winter skin in no time!

Scrub Baby Scrub:
There is nothing more feminine or sensual then touching soft, supple skin, however it can seem like an impossible thing to achieve when your skin is cracking and peeling from the cold. Don’t worry, that’s where exfoliating scrubs come in to play and this one can be used daily in the shower.
Combine –
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup very refined salt
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Mix these ingredients together and apply while taking a shower. You don’t need much; a whole tablespoon will cover almost your entire body, so use it intentionally. Also, be sure not to scrub too hard, this scrub is super effective and a gentle application will go a long way.

Moisturize For The Prize:
Okay, so the prize is that you get amazing skin – but trust me it’s so worth it! I use moisturizer all year long but in the colder months, I notice that my creams and lotions just aren’t enough so I have to start adding oils to my routine. If you are immediately uncomfortable with that thought because you don’t want things to get greasy, I promise you this will have the opposite effect. You can use a small drop of this on your face and it will go a long way.
Combine –
½ cup organic coconut oil
1 teaspoon liquid vitamin E
5 – 7 drops of lavender essential oils
Try one (or all) of these home remedies for glowing skin!
