Homemade Raw Almond Milk Recipe

Make this easy homemade almond milk recipe. It’s creamy, delicious and ohh so good for you—it has tons of protein and fiber!. Use it on your morning oatmeal, in your smoothie, coffee, or tea. Really just use it any time you would use dairy milk, the uses are endless. And you know exactly what’s in it. No mystery ingredients.

Ingredients:

1 cup raw almonds or cashews
3 cups water
Honey to taste

Method:

Soak raw almonds overnight for at least 6 hours. Drain almonds and discard water.

Place all ingredients in heavy duty blender like a Vitamix. Blend on high speed until completely combined and the liquid looks like milk. Taste for flavor, add more honey if desired.

Note: If you don’t like pulp strain milk with a fine mesh sieve over a large bowl. Almond milk will last 2-3 days kept in the refrigerator.
