Directions

Melt the green candy coating in the microwave. Every 30 seconds, mix the green candy coating and then let it melt further in the microwave. Continue to do so until the mixture is smooth.

Stick one lollipop stick into the flat edge of each marshmallow, about 3/4 into the marshmallow, making sure not to pop out the other side. Holding the stick, dip each marshmallow into the dark green candy coating that has been melted. Make sure to coat the entire marshmallow, avoiding the stick. As you remove the marshmallow from the mixture, turn the stick and lightly shake it to let excess coating drip. Pop the stick into a foam block so that the coating on the marshmallows can dry without smearing. Repeat this with all other marshmallow pops.

While the marshmallows dry, begin to prepare the Frankenstein face. Melt the white candy coating and put it into an icing pipe bag with a small hole, about 1/8-inch thick in diameter. Use the white candy coating pipe to make “eyes” on the marshmallows. Let dry until hardened. Next, melt the black candy coating and using the piping bag, pipe small black dots in the center of the “eyes” and a squiggly “mouth”. Let harden.

Melt the purple candy coating and place in a small bowl or plate. Dip the top of each marshmallow into the purple candy coating, creating “hair.” Place the marshmallow pop stick back into the Styrofoam to allow for further drying.

To present the Frankenstein pops, stick them into a pumpkin or a foam block that has been spray painted Halloween (spooky) colors, such a green, black, orange, or brown. Enjoy!
