Project Green Search 2010, The Contest Begins
It’s on, Season 2 of Project Green Search that is. Are you the next woman of green? If it’s your dream to align your professional life with your personal beliefs that happen to fully encompass advocating green living, you just might be. If championing the earth, animal wellfare, fair trade and human rights all sound like your ideal life’s purpose, you may be the next “Green It Girl” that the Project Green Search is… well, searching for.
The winner – woman who proves she’s got it – becomes a model, spokesperson, host, brand ambassador and all around go green citizen for all manner of ethical companies. The prize package awarded to the PGS winner this season is unbelievable – and it’s still growing – including an eco-fashion shopping spree from Shift, an eco-beauty package from Evolue, raw/vegan cooking classes from Chef Natalia at Glowing Temple, a library of eco living reference books, an optional one year contract with a talent & modeling agency and PR representation with Chartreuse PR for one year!
All you have to do is prove you’re the one. Entry into the contest is free, and you’ll find the entry form here. Getting creative with multiple images, writing samples, essays and videos is strongly encouraged.
You have from now through midnight on December 31st to complete your entry. Public voting begins on January 3rd and closes at midnight on January 10th, 2011. The 10 finalists will be announced on Monday, January 17th, after which the finals will take place in Los Angeles February 2-7. The chosen ones will participate in a series of challenges, all filmed to produce a Project Green Search series of webisodes to be viewed on PlanetGreen.com – wherein one person will claim it all.
