3 Spooky Halloween Cocktail Recipes
1. Witch’s Cauldron
This concoction resembles something a witch would be chanting over as it brews. However, it’s just a spiked green juice with a fresh rosemary sprig (ahem: witch’s broom) garnish. Detox while you sip.
- 1 large cucumber
- 1 large stalk of celery
- 1 lemon, peeled
- 1 green apple
- Handful fresh kale
- Handful fresh parsley
- 1-inch nob of ginger, peeled
- 4 ounces vodka
- 2 rosemary sprigs, leaves removed until there is but 1-inch remaining at the end, resembling a broom
Juice the cucumber, celery, lemon, apple, kale, parsley, and ginger. Transfer the juice to a shaker filled with ice. Add in the vodka. Shake vigorously.
Strain the mixture into two glasses and garnish each with a rosemary “broom stick.” You can even go as far as lighting the remaining rosemary leaves on fire (with caution) so that they release smoke while being served.
2. Ghostly White Russian
This cocktail tastes like sin, looks like a ghost, and is neither of those two things. This white Russian recipes offers a kick in more ways than one – it’s infused with vodka and Kahlua as well as coffee. It is also vegan and sweetened with stevia instead of sugar. No need to adorn this recipe with much – it’s a ghost, after all.
