Burrata Salad Recipe with Cherry Tomatoes and Pesto
This cherry tomato burrata salad recipe with pesto is a 10 minute dish that's summer picnic perfect.
Burrata is a moist, fresh ball of mozzarella filled with curds and cream that slowly ooze out with each forkful. This is a must-make recipe at the end of summer when tomatoes are at their peak!
Not all salads are ideal for al fresco meals, but as this burrata salad recipe is tomato-based and not lettuce, it travels well. Invite your friends, lay a summery blanket under a tree, and serve it up alongside our curry chicken salad sandwiches, three-berry cobbler, and ice-cold freshly made lemonade.

How to Make the Burrata Salad Recipe
In a bowl, whisk together the pesto and vinegar. Add the oil in a thin stream, whisking constantly until the dressing is well blended. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Slice the tomatoes in half, add to the bowl, and toss gently. Season with salt and pepper and use a slotted spoon to mound them on a serving platter. Nestle the cheese in the center and drizzle with some pesto dressing from the bowl. Garnish with the basil leaves and serve.
