A Nice Slice: A Fruity Dessert Pizza Recipe

This dessert pizza recipe nixes the excess sugars and heaviness of those you’ll find at fast food pizza joints by honoring the simple, yet shinng flavors of fresh fruits: bananas and strawberries, as well as using healthy coconut milk in place of dairy. In a small bowl combine the thick part of the coconut milk with 1 tablespoons honey and cocoa powder. Mix until smooth.

Spread the chocolate, honey and coconut cream mixture over the tortilla.

Slice the banana and strawberries. Spread them across the chocolate coconut cream.

Of course you can get creative and use other seasonal fruits and berries. Try sliced pears, pineapple, blueberries or even pomegranate seeds for a nice treat!
