Earth Day Live Cooking Demo with Organic Authority and Whole Foods Market!

Join Organic Authority on April 21 at 1pm PT for an Earth Day celebration with Whole Foods Market! Our very own Editor-in-Chief, Laura Klein, will be hosting a live cooking demo from the Fairfax location in Los Angeles. But you can tune in from anywhere. Read on for the details.

If you’ve been following our Earth Day buzz, you know that we’re hosting a Community Garden board on Pinterest. Hopefully you’ve already begun to upload pics of your gorgeous garden or garden-grown eats (you can read all about the board here). We’ll be featuring some of your images during the live webcast and one lucky OA reader will win a $100 Whole Foods gift card, too!

Laura will be joined by Whole Foods Market cooking specialist, Sibyl Fenwick. They’ll explore the wonderful uses of Mason jars: from home-fermenting and DIY herb gardens, to making your own preserves, yogurts and meals right in the jar!

To join the fun, you can go to our Google+ page where we will be hosting our hangout on April 21st. The first 9 people to join in can be with us live via their webcam. Everyone else can watch live on our YouTube page, where we will be streaming the entire event. You can leave comments on the video page and we will answer them during the demo. You can also tweet us questions or leave them on our Facebook page, which we will be monitoring throughout the festivities, too.

Once we’re live, we will let you know where to fill out the form to enter our raffle giveaway. The form will only be live for that hour. At the end of the demo, we will announce the winner of the Whole Foods gift card.

We hope you’re having a wonderful Earth Month celebration! We look forward to seeing you on the 21st. And remember to upload your pics to the Community Garden on Pinterest!
