Spring is here, and that means your feet are ever the more closer to bearing themselves fully for the world to see. After a long winter of thick socks, suffocating boots and no exposure to the sun, your feet are likely not in the best of shape. The following DIY foot scrub recipe works to wipe away dead skin cells as well as hydrate and shine otherwise lackluster toes, ankles and soles.

This foot scrub recipe is packed with all-natural ingredients that will soften and freshen your toes unlike any other over-the-counter treatment could. Try the recipe as-is at first and then swap in different essential oils depending on what mood you’re in or what kind of aroma you’d like to follow your feet around all day.

This foot scrub recipe features the spring season apropos apricot oil in addition to sea salt, peppermint oil and tea tree oil. The peppermint oil refreshes your feet and offers them a delightful lift, while the tea tree oil provides antimicrobial perks. The sea salt exfoliates the skin, while the apricot oil not only nourishes and hydrates the skin but also fuels the feet with antioxidants.
