Directions: Pour juice into popsicle molds. Place in the freezer for about 1 hour, just when they are semi-firm. Insert popsicle sticks and then continue freezing until frozen solid. Hand out to kids when they come inside after playing outdoors in the heat for a refreshing snack!
2. Easy Guacamole Sandwich
Cold cut meats are often infused with artificial ingredients and excess sodium, so opting for plant-based ingredients is a great alternative to the average sandwich recipe. Sandwiches are already easy to assemble, but slabbing guacamole between two pieces of bread is even easier. Avocado is packed with healthy fats, fiber and protein. Your children’s tummies will be full and palates satisfied.

Directions: Mash the avocado in a small bowl and add the remaining ingredients – tomatoes, shallot, parsley, garlic and salt and pepper. Mix until evenly combined. Slather evenly only 4 pieces of bread and top each slice with a free slice. Cut each sandwich in half and serve.
3. Pineapple Sorbet

Ingredients:
Directions: Slice a pineapple in half, length-wise and spoon out the flesh, keeping the skin intact. Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Remove and pour into a freezer safe container. Place in the freezer until frozen – about a few hours – and then remove. Let thaw slightly and then place back into the blender and blend once again to create a sorbet-like consistency. Scoop the sorbet back into the pineapple halves for a pretty presentation.
4. Homemade Fruit Roll Ups
Fruit roll ups are a classic favorite among the youngsters, but they often are packed with more sugar than necessary. This recipe is sugar free and made with love.

Ingredients:
Directions: Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Fahrenheit. Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the mixture on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and spread evenly until thin and only an inch away from the edges. Bake for 6-7 hours or until dried and not sticky when touched. Cut into strips and enjoy!
