Say what you will about the French, but they love their food–even the unlovable ugly stuff. This amazing French grocery store campaign to “save” the ugly fruits and veggies from the compost bin (or worse!) will make your jaw drop. Not only does it cut down the food waste significantly, but it saves shoppers money and changes the perceptions people have about food. It’s also huge step forward in making sure no one goes hungry.
