Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Launch Plant-Based Baby Product Company
The line will be sold exclusively at Walmart.
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are getting into the baby business. The celebrity couple announced the launch of their plant-based baby product line, Hello Bello, yesterday.
“As a mom of two, I know how beautifully messy parenthood can be, and that’s why we created Hello Bello — a line of premium, super-effective baby care products to take care of your kids from head to butt to toe,” Bell said in a statement. “Our products are fresh and fun. More importantly, we use plant-based ingredients and organic botanicals that are better for our kids and better for our world.”
The products are not only being touted as both “premium” and “affordable” but they’re also made with renewable ingredients, making them environmentally friendly.
Hello Bello’s goodies include everything that a baby requires, including shampoo, bubble bath, sunscreen, baby wipes, baby lotion, and, of course, diapers.
Speaking of diapers, the funny couple made a hilarious ad for their pulp diaper, which, according to Bell, is made with chlorine-free sustainably harvested fluff pulp and is “less waste since we use less materials!”
And, she adds, “I think it’s the most absorbent.”
The line makes sense for Bell, a long-time vegetarian, and Shepard to collaborate on. As frequent co-stars as they are co-parents, the couple is clearly a fan favorite and their funny takes on parenting, including everything from bedtime to birthdays, have resonated with moms and dads alike.
With products ranging in price from $1.88 to $23.94, the couple is hoping their baby swag resonates with the pocketbooks of parents, too.
“We know parenting is hard enough as it is,” Shepard said. “Parents shouldn’t have to choose between what’s good for their baby and good for their budget.”
