5 Holiday Fruits We Can’t Live Without

The winter season is upon us, but that doesn’t mean you have to give up fresh fruits for these next few months. In fact, several fruits actually come into season this time of year, and they are fresher and tastier now more than ever. Here are our five favorite holiday fruits at the OA kitchens, along with our fave recipes to cook them in.
APPLES
For starters, learn why organic apples are the way to go at the market. And if you’re still stuck on Granny Smith and Red Delicious, you may want to expand your apple selection to the more diverse heirloom varieties. For the yet more adventurous apple enthusiasts, try your hand at going apple picking right from the source, at an apple orchard near you.
